Make and prepare
Choose an idea you enjoy. Think about the materials, the time involved and how you would present it on a stall.
Make it. Share it. Learn from it.
A first idea. A handmade creation. A chance to have a go. Creative Kids Market introduces young people to making, selling and saving with encouragement from the local community.
Next market details are still to be announced. Parents and guardians can contact the team to ask about taking part.

Next market
There is no confirmed upcoming market date in this update. The previously advertised Saturday 29 August 2026 market is now in the past.
Ask the team about the next date, venue, visiting hours and stallholder arrangements before making plans.
Small stalls, useful skills
Preparing for a market can be a practical way to explore an idea together. Start small and focus on what you can learn.
Choose an idea you enjoy. Think about the materials, the time involved and how you would present it on a stall.
Practise explaining what you have made, listening to questions and helping someone choose.
Write down your costs and think about a savings goal. Afterward, talk about what you would keep or change.
For young stallholders
The programme welcomes creative young people up to age 18. A parent or guardian should contact the team about current participation arrangements.
Share a short description of what you would like to make or sell. You do not need to send children’s personal details in an initial general enquiry.
Ask about applications, costs, stall space, approved products and adult supervision. Confirm the requirements before buying materials or making stock.
Once the team has confirmed a place and the event details, plan your display, transport and what you will need to bring.
Learning with local encouragement
The market brings young makers into contact with local business mentors and a Community Bank savings supporter.
An encouraging conversation can help a young person ask questions, think through an idea and learn from experience.
Interested in being a mentor or supporting the programme? Tell the team about the experience or practical help you could offer.
Before you make plans
The next market’s arrangements will need to be confirmed with the 5FOLD team.
Ask the team for the next event’s visitor information, including its location, opening hours and any entry arrangements.
Contact 5FOLD to ask when the next stallholder applications will open. The old application listing relates to the August 2026 market.
Fees, inclusions and stall requirements for the next event have not been confirmed in this update. Check before committing to participate.
Your own contact details, whether you are enquiring as a parent, visitor or supporter, and a brief question are a useful starting point.
